“I’ve suffered with migraine headaches for
18 years. Six months ago, they became daily. I had tried
everything. I’d been to many migraine clinics here
and in Canada. I tried beta-blockers, antidepressants,
and was suggested to have shots of Novocain injected into
my neck. Ten years later, nothing had changed in the treatment
of my headaches save the fact the doctor put me on notice
that the Imitrex I was taking could cause a heart attack…nice
thought. Several doctors told me the migraines were just ‘my
personality', and I should accept the fact I would have
them for the rest of my life. Perhaps, it would be worth
mentioning that I compete nationally as a sculler and I
train six days per week, and I kept on this schedule right
through periods of intense migraines. One day, I read about

different conditions including migraines. I went to the
center and under went a gamut of tests and was evaluated

As a captain, of a treasure recovery
vessel, my body has been dealt more than its fair share
of hard knocks. For years I have had neck and back pain.
Not just any pain, but the kind that makes you feel you’re
about 80 years older than you really are. Over the years,
I have realized that this pain has depleted my life in
many ways; it has left me agitated, somewhat depressed
and has compromised my lifestyle. My medical doctors gave
me some prescription drugs to use, and the pain was so
severe that I used them. I felt I had to just to get out
of bed in the morning and physically make it down the docks
to the boat. I became concerned about using the drugs,
I was afraid I could become addicted to them. I knew I
couldn’t handle the constant pain so I was seeking
an alternative. That is when I met, Dr. Silva. He told
me about chiropractic and I decided to give it a try. Following
his recommendations for treatment, I was able to get to
the point where the pain was non-existent. Then I had a
set-back. While riding on a lawn tractor, the mower blade
caught the end of a palm frond and pulled the branch down,
pinning me to the tractor. I was stuck there for a good
ten minutes before I managed to get free. I thought for
sure the pain was back to stay. Luckily at the same time
as my accident, Dr. Silva was taking delivery of the ProAdjuster.
After my very first adjustment with the ProAdjuster I
could feel immediate relief, and within two weeks, I was
fully recovered. I haven’t felt this good in years.
I am sleeping better, playing better and no longer suffer
from the constant pain. I wish I had tried this earlier.
